Personal & Home Living

Student Population: Seniors ranging in age from sixteen to twenty-one.

Class Size: Classes contain eight to twelve students.

Goals: Students will demonstrate and increase daily living skills and employability skills that help them to become independent as adults.

Activities: Student activities are designed to develop individual student skills in the areas of nutrition, health, grooming, clothing, housekeeping, home safety, interpersonal relationships and employability skills.

Teacher/Staff Positions: Senior teachers and their instructional assistants.

Curriculum: ESE Home Economics Curriculum Frameworks and teacher-developed curriculum.
