Partners & Volunteers:

Good Shepherd ChurchThe Gretchen Everhart family has truly been blessed to have Good Shepherd Catholic Church and the Men of Good Shepherd as our volunteer partners. Over the past nine years, Good Shepherd Catholic Church parishioners have purchased personalized gifts for each and every child at our school. This year they delivered over 300 gifts to our students. Gifts ranged from Big Wheel trikes to roller skates, electronic learning games, videos, CD's, sporting goods, and clothing. What makes this annual event so much fun for students (and staff) is the fact that Larry Nelson, a member of the Men of Good Shepherd plays the role of Santa. With his real white beard, he brings special moments and memories to each child. Pam Erickson, the Gretchen Everhart Teacher who coordinates this activity each year put together a PowerPoint thank you card to the wonder folks at Good Sheppard Catholic Church after their visit on December 14, 2006. If you do not have PowerPoint software on your computer, you can download a free PowerPoint View below.
Also, check out the pictures from Santa's most recent visit to Gretchen Everhart School on December 14, 2006. Thank You Note to the Parishioners of Good Shepherd Catholic Church:As the parents of Bernie, a student who has been the recipient of a Christmas gift from Good Shepherd Catholic Church these past five years, we want to publicly thank you for the kindness you have shown our son as well as that shown to countless other children at our school. To those who do not know, that kindness is not demonstrated just at Christmas, but throughout the school year. By the way, while Bernie is nonverbal, I think he would like me to make sure I told you that he has enjoyed each and every gift, from the toy fire truck and police car that flashed lights and sounded sirens to the CD's.
