Elementary School

Student Population: This program  includes five- to thirteen-year-old students with TMH, PMH, PI and Autistic challenges. There are seven to nine students in each class.

Goals: Goals include the development of self-care, community, home living, social, communication, pre-academics and academic skills.

Activities: Activities include Community-Based Instruction in a variety of locations to support goals and Minimum Performance Standards, art, fine motor, calendar, circle time, music based activities, interactive play, computer instruction, cooking, housekeeping, academics, and leisure activities.

Teacher/Staff Positions: One teacher with two instructional assistants and one foster grandparent in each class.

Curriculum: The curriculum is based on the Sunshine State Standards and the CBI Curriculum.
